Not all of you know about this project so I'd like to let you in on it.
the Alberta Hunters Education Instructors Association (AHEIA) had their WISE awards and banquet on the weekend. They always get donations and have various fundraising activities. Silent auctions, bucket draws, card draws, live auctions etc. AHEIA is avery worthwhile organization and I've been wanting to do something for them for a couple of years.
This year it all came together Tucker agreed to make a Gorgeous longbow, Bert made a dozen arrows also very nice, Dennis donated a bow quiver, and arrowheads. I made a display rack for it all. We were really able to demonstrate our individual abilities to several hundred non trad shooters.
I'm pleased to say that it was VERY well received and a 13 year old girl made the winning bid-a little over $400.00. There's more to her story but you have to come to the AGM to hear it!
To the guys who donated their time and efforts to this worthy project I offer a heartfelt thank you!
