Well I have to post this for all to see. I found the sheds in 2010 I had seen this deer while on a walk in August 2009. I was lucky enough to figure out his bedding area and in February 20109 I used my brain and my dogs nose to find his sheds..really lucky to find both , as they were in two diferent stands of trees and to answer any questions about him. HE IS IN A NO HUNTING AREA , MAYBE HE WILL LEAVE TO A HUNTING AREA BUT HE WOULD HAVE TO TRAVEL ABOUT 4 MILES....probably why he got so big...the problem is every time I look at this taxidermy job( beautiful) ....every deer I see when i hunt looks like a baby...he is 210 non typical. Very symetrical with three drops and nice shape and kickers that are on the same g2 on both sides...what a buck. Sad thing is I have not seen him in 2011. And once in 2010 but could not find his sheds..hope he is still alive .

That gets me excited right in the pit of my stomache. Funny how an animal can arouse such emotions. Maybe even a smart deer will wander out of a non-hunting area sometimes. Hopefully you cross paths sometime.

update on what I believe is his son.....he is in the same area and in February I saw him and watched him for three days and was hoping he would drop his antlers in the area....He seems to be a loner and will only hang with other bucks for a day or two then...leave...then I would see him about a 2 km or 3 km away....anyway...I didn't find his sheds....would be great to get father and son antler set.....pretty sure this is his son as he has same antler configuration....it would be great if he wondered into a hunting area but my spot is about 35 km away

saw the son again on monday last week and he is even bigger now..hopefully I can find him again with my camera , it was raining and the camera is too fancy for heavy rain and I don't have the equipment to cover the large lense in inclimate weather...hadn't seen him since february and was happy to see he is still alive...took Bert up to the spot yesterday and he spotted a few dandy bucks ..but the droptine son was not out....
