I LOVE the shoots that have some steep uphill and downhill shots. I've miffed more downhill shots on game than any other and it's great to be able to practise them.

I looked up the Entrance Guest Ranch on the web and it looks awesome from the pictures. As soon as I hear more details I will post it hear an on our website as well. By the looks of the pictures there should be plenty of up and down hill shots.

I looks like the A.T.B.A. Executive have been hard at work making plans for the 2012 Jamboree. There are going to be plenty of raffles with some great prizes.
Make sure you bring your Elk Bugles this year, there's talk we may have the groups bugle during the 3D rounds when someone gets an arrow in the vitals. Knowing the way you all shoot the hills should be alive with the great sounds for the Majestic Wapiti and if your not sure how to bugle an Elk we are going to look after that as well. Special Guest: Bruce Chisholm of the Wild Elk Federation will be doing a Wapiti Presentation & Bugling Seminar.
Don't forget to get you registrations in asap, you would want to miss out on the commemorative gift.

I REALLY don't like the way it is scheduled this year! Moving the supper to Sunday and than having the draws at 6:30 just stinks. For guys that can't stay till Mon and have a 4-5 hour drive home sometime after atleast 7 pm it makes difficult to even go this year.

I've never missed a Jam yet but this may be the first. I had the reg. all filled out and the cheque signed before I read the schedule. Now I'm not sure I'll send it in. Having the supper on Sat. nite makes so much better sense to me.

Sorry for the rant but I about choked when I saw the schedule change. Reall think that this will turn people away this year.

Ya I sent him an e-mail last nite but haven't heard back. Just think we want as many to attend as possible as it is our major fundraiser and I truely believe that we will turn people away. I'm still holding onto my registration cause I haven't made up my mind. Bought a motorcycle this summer and was going to ride it to the jam but no way I'm riding that far in the evening hours/dark.

It's a good point, and Saturday seems to make the most sense, unless tehre is a specific reaon to have the supper on Sunday. Perhaps it's to allow time for the guest speaker. I know that having a speaker the same evening as the supper makes things very difficult to work out. It is a long weekend and we really should try and fit in as much stuff as we can into those 3 days, we only get to meet once a year after all.

That is the price we allhaveto pay to belong to a Provincial organization. With the shoot changing location every years it is impossible to accommodate everyone every years. Sometime it will beclose to you and sometime farther. They are trying different things as they are pass on to them by members but again it will not be perfect for all.... Do pas on your concerns to the president and other executives. Also if you will leave early and make it home at a reasonable time you could leave your tickets with someone that reside close to you , but you would mis that part of the fun. Hope to see you there.
