Good one Clint! shikari! buff horn is a wonderful medium and polishes to a gloss. Incredibly strong and flexible. If u were to go back to a dead beast say a week or so from demise (especially the time of year Clint nadded this un it's pretty warm) can just bang around the base of the horn with a heavy stick and they pop right off the pith! Mind u if u'r not used to the pong its pretty gaggable. The fat end can then be soaked in diesel to keep em from drying for another week to avoid splitting/drying where it's thinnest
