This is my first, and while it looks pretty good in the pic, there are a few minor things that didnt go exactly as planned, although none that seriously detracts from teh look of function of the knife. Curly maple, cocobolo and antler handle with a brass guard. Puukko blade, 5", sharp enough to shave a butt hair off a fleas arse.

I did have a sheath for it, but the handle diameter ended up too small and so the knife is way too loose in the sheath. I have a friend of mine who wants to take a sta at making a sheath for it.

It was a fun project, I'll proably order another blade and do another one soon. I have a lot to learn, but for my first I was fairly happy with the result.

...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

Looks good John. Well done. Remember the things that didn't go quite as planned on this one and improve them on the next. Then pretty soon you're hooked and no turning back.....lol.

Good job. Careful you will catch the addiction. Now order more supplies and post another up soon.
