Anybody been out scouting yet? I usually have the cameras out by now but not this year. No lease so I'm going to be hunting public.

going this weekend on some private land, jumped a doe in her bed while scouting last weekend, I am seeing much more deer sign than I did last year, I also think I might have found where some hogs have been, you check out that Tunica hills WMA yet?, I'd be glad to accompany you on a hunt at that place

I don't plan on scouting. I will have a big garbage can full of food sitting in front of me for Winnie the Pooh. I am debating whether to shoot the bear with my bow or jump out with my pig sticker knife and poke him right good.

No scouting for me. Probably no deer for me either. No boat=no access. I've considered Tunica but I haven't got money to drive all the way up there more than once during the season. I don't know how you guys do it. I'll take the dry ground anyday.

Sherburne? I'd say it's about the same distance if not further. I've pretty much come to accept the fact that my next 4 years are chock full of target shooting.

Not true, I have seen pics of guys with many ducks using longbows. You could start duck hunting with a bow. I would invest in an arrow company, however.
