Really nice bows for sure....I haven't seen a bow yet I didn't like. Kevin that's a slick camo job. I finished up a HBH this past week for a summer intern engineer and my son wants one now and that camo would be a nice touch for his... I guess I need to hunt some up now.

Thanks guys, it means a lot coming from the bench. I picked up the camo from wally world fabric dept. Don't know if i'll do it again though, hard to keep those edges from fraying (as it's cotton). I finally loaded the edges up with superglue before applying the finish. If y'all know any other tricks, lemme know!

Per coasters' post "Happy or deranged?" I say yes [Big Grin]

Definitely Deranged. But that's ok, I think most of our wives would say the same about us.

Last night I put about 200 arrows through the swap bow getting her shot in (first hundred) and then fine tuning the timing of the limbs (second hundred) until it only has the slightest thump. (It is a Hill style, not sure someone of my caliber can get it to where there is no thump at all...) This also resulted in the draw weight falling to a lb over the mid point of the range specified. All is well.

I think I'm going to make a fresh string and apply another coat of finish tonight. Might ship on Tuesday instead of tomorrow so that the finish can fully cure before going in the tube.

I have to say it shoots crazy accurate for me. The first hundred were at 17-18 yds and I split two different nocks and ruined the arrows they were sitting in. If my recipient doesn't like it, I'll happily pay to have it shipped back!

Kelly, I normally can't. Which is why I figured it was an omen worth sharing. I just hope I haven't used up all the mojo before ********* gets it next week.

My wife told me to smile like it was my first Christmas. She hid the tube from me most of the afternoon and then told me to go check something in the closet. There it was sitting. So deranged would be an extremely accurate statement!

gOOD TO SEE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LOOKS AT [laughing] THE LETTERS WHILE I TYPE.

Half the fun of the swap is the waiting game. Then you look like goose when you package shows up. we are a weird bunch aren't we. [smileystooges]
