I decided I want to put some skins on a snakey bumpy back osage bow I have but first where is the best place to buy them and is there another link where I can "see" how to do it?

I have one bow without tip overlays I was thinking about skinning. Do you: stop the skin short of where the string lays, skin it right to the tip, or put on tip overlays first? Thom

Thom, you can do it however you like. Here is a pic where the skin is taken all the way to the end, no overlays on hackberry bow:
