Look up Mike Grewcock on youtube. He is documenting his self-teaching of bow making and archery, with just basic equipment. He obviously spends a lot of time to make a quality video, and breaks his process down very well, more so than most youtube how-to videos.

You just need to understand the strange "English" (British) haha

Go to his playlists then "Beginners Archery and Bowmaking". There are a couple dozen videos in that category.

his 'first bow' video is quite good, but he obviously knows quite a bit more than he says... his use of the proper tools and creating a natural tillering tree shows that he is quite knowledgeable.
