After killing 12 deer or so with my recurves I finally took a deer with a longbow. I am hooked. Here's the story:

A silent longbow is all it takes!!!! great story!!!!

it is always nice when you are hunting and feeling relaxed to get all the stress out, getting these trophy is the cherry in the pie!!!!

You are right there is something about the longbow. I love the way they feel in my hand, shoot, sound and look. Your doe is a beauty. Are we seeing the exit wound in the picture? Looks like a perfect double lung hit. [thumbsup]

Gatekeeper you are correct...lung/heart/exit in that order. Made some great meat. Tired of yardwalkin'/store bought turkey so tonight it was FRESH BACKSTRAP!
