I grew up in Wayzata. We live and work overseas in Thailand for the last 18 yrs. My wife is from New London/Spicer area so I have hunted out there a fair amount and took a real nice 13 pointer a few years ago out there. Spend as much time up at Ely as possible at my folks place. Will be back to hunt late Oct with my longbow this year. I make my own bows and equipment.

I'm in Rochester. New to Archery, newer to bow building. But it is too addictive to let slide, so I guess I'll be building bows and learning as I go!

Have a tournament coming up on 9/8/2012. It's about 45 miles NW of St. Cloud. The tournament includes the compound shooters, but they would like a 2-man team of traditional shooters. Anyone interested in doing some shooting on 9/8?? Send me an E-mail with any questions.

anyone in dakota county? I am trying to buy a vintage Browning Explorer and the guy wont ship. So hoping I can find someone local to trust and send the cash via PayPal and then have them purchase the bow for me and ship it properly. If there is a traditional shop in area that would work too....I have a couple boxes and could send on for the bow empty if needed.
Thanks for any help or recommendations. This bow was for sale before and sold quick at very low price....now it is back up as the guy only wanted the pearson arrows with deadheads mounted on them...and is selling bow and case alone.
appreciate the help if possible...thank you.

Hey all. I am in Webster just south of Prior Lake. I am pretty new to archery too. I have a compound that I bought from Schaffer Archery in Burnsville but this forum has got me interested in building my own bow. Planning on starting with the red oak pyramid tutorial on this site. Just need to find the time. If any of you guys are out my direction, let me know and we can do some target shooting on my land.
