Got a sharp 65 Kodiak off the brown truck yesterday. I think I've got the Bear sickness, but I have the cure! I'm all out of money.

This bow is 60" marked, 50#@28"

( Quote, from Larry M )

From my last post, first old Bear, 1970 SK.

( That's a pretty bow and a nice setup! Great one to start with but you'll now find you will not be happy until the next one arrives! )

Well, the next one arrived,

Yep, Big Bird, these 65 are pretty!

When I get the funds built back up? I'm gonna be on the look out for a 1962 Kodiak Special in 63" and over 50# I love the light green glass and rosewood riser. I think they might be the best looking Kodiak!

1965 1966 are actualy two of the best shooting bows ever built.Fast NO WAY ... nail drivers YES SIR.Built about as bullet proof as any bow ever built was ? YES.I would be willing to bet you that 99% of 1965 and 1966's that did not get damaged by some moreon (misstringingthebow or runningoverbowwithtruck) are still in service today. And yes,yes the 1965 Kodiak is actualy the grandfather of the mighy Super Kodiak check that out sometime.Few changes were ever made to the bows after the beautiful 1965 was born.Good hit right there RLA for sure. Now ya'all just relax a minute and look RLA's new baby over real good OK ? ok OK now do it again and again and .....anyone that can not see the true beauty in that little gem right there needs glasses.By far one of the true sweethearts of the bear line up you gotta love em huh ? bd

Thanks Guys, The 65 does seem to be a little nicer shooter than the 70 SK I have. To my eye it's a little faster also? Maybe I just have a slow 70 SK. Those are some sweet bows in the pic's!
