Thanks for another great Michigan archery history thread! Every time I see your name pop up in the thread listings, I know I'm going to learn something new.
The history / culture / personalities of archery in America are subjects which I will never tire of reading. Looking forward to your next byline.

I'm glad you guys are enjoying the posts as much as I am in posting them.I guess not everyone finds this history stuff "boring".
Gila Mike- I agree with you too.I don't think I will ever tire of reading about the history of archery/bowhunting in America.These people paved the way for the sport which all of us here enjoy today.

This has been a joy to read. I hope that the pictures and information posted here will be made available (with higher res pics) in a more permanent form. This is history that should be around for a few more hundred years.
Daisy is still a very beautiful woman. The determination in her face and bearing has not diminished in the least over the years of her wonderful life.

Hobow- Thanks,and I couldn't agree more.I've said in the past that meeting and talking to some of those that helped to make the history we love to read about has been the highlight of my search for this "old stuff".I'm really glad that so many others share this same interest.
