Well, I think everyone had a good time with week one and Owlbait is happy he entered my little gift exchange for Mike's book.

In ordered to be considered for the book, you have to enter on THIS post. I am not going back thru the old one--it would be too confusing. So if you entered last week, you will have to take the 10 seconds this week in order to be entered.

I posted this photo about midway thru last week, but it is so amazing, I thought I would open with it here. Maybe this winter ol' Herdbull will come in and give us the history of this buck he has been hunting so hard for the past few years.



I know Mike has had some VERY close encounters with this buk this year. These are sheds from last year and he is very similar now.

If you are not familiar with the book, it basically chronicles Mike's growth as a hunter from the beginning with family and friends to the grand solo adventures he takes today. It is not a how to book, but if you read it carefully, you will pick up many tips that will help you on all of your hunts. Every time I read it, I learn something new and find yet another reason to be impressed.
