I have had a number of things come together to keep me from hunting for anything so far this deer/elk season, but one of the big reasons is it is too hot! Anyone else?

Yup. I've found lots of elk 2+ miles from the road but haven't wanted to shoot one. I think the meat will spoil before I can get it packed out to a cooler.

Haven't go out one time yet. Waiting on the late season and hopefully will get out then.

Today it was cooler, even rained pretty well out on the coast-perhaps once before the season ends, but I too am looking forward to the last season this year.
