Last weekend i had the opportunity to take this eight pointer! 54" 55@25 Treadway blackswamp magnus 135gr. 2 blades on cedar arrows ground blind at 14 yards
It has been a very dry year (2011) season, just to give you an idea this part of Mexico, just had 5 inches of rain during all last year. So it was difficult to maintain and retain deer in some properties, specially in those where water supply was short.
After all I had the chance to encounter this buck on the last weekend of hunting and fortunately made a good shot.
Before taking this deer I was upset with myself because I had missed a shot at a good buck, but thats what hunting is all about.
