Wow, Mike! That was AWESOME.

I went on a similar adventure in Australia earlier this year. I was hunting feral goats and red stag. I missed 3 goats and a stag.......and still had a fantastic time. The only critter I shot while there was a rabbit. When I tell my friends about it, esp the oneswho are not into bowhunting the way I am.....they look at me like I am crazy and ask "You went all the way to Australia to hunt and only shot a rabbit? Man, that stinks!".

But it does not stink! It was great and I would not trade the memories for a million dollars.

Only people who are die-hard bowhunters can understand.

Congrats on a great trip!

Bisch

I can say for certain, that any person who has hunted this area and taken a goat, you have unbelievable skills.

Dan, I want to thank you and also Ho for the stories you 2 have wrote and inspired me, and also for the advice. On my next visit, I will make it into the Kalalau Valley wether there are huge numbers of goats or not. The place is just to beautiful to not set foot in there.

Well, I have a few more days till I have to leave, so please enjoy the mainland for me, because if I play my cards right, I might figure an angle so I can stay here forever. 1 thing is for sure...If I come back home, I will be returning to the islands.
