I thought I had showed you guys these when I did them a little while ago but cant find it so will post the pics again.The shafts are good old Ausy hardwood hand spined weighed and tapered.The quiver I made and the horn is a roaring horn for the red deer we get down here.Hope you like the pics......

I love them. What type of dye did you use to color the feathers adn horn.

Your Quiver is excellent also.

Nice looking sticks! Like the quiver, too. What kind of Aussie hardwood did you use, and did you buy shafting, or make them yourself from a board?

Hi guys thanks for the comments.The wood is called silver ash I think and I buy it as shafts in a lot of 10 doz and weight them into batches and then taper and straighten them.The feathers come that colour but I splice them for the effect.The stain is one an old guy in a paint shop sod me but told me not to tell anyone not sure why but he had it in unmarked drums out back.I am not sure if it is still legal to sell it here in Auz as a lot of the stronger stuff was taken off the market.I deff use a repirator with it though as it takes your breath away if you dont.
