i have a osage selfbow . the bottom limb cracked at the fadeout on the belly side .does anybody know if it is possible to glue the limb and still be able to shoot it?

Which way is the crack running? If it's going with the limb, it's probably fine. Odd place for a crack though. Thin superglue is what I would use. If it's across the limb, I wouldn't shoot it. I hate when that happens but when they do break, it can be ugly.

Super glue first, then a double layer sinew wrap and you can shoot the bow forever.

Did you add the hadle peice to you osage. Generaly that can happen when the osage wants to bend but the added handle material doesn't. Can you add a pic. It may be that you'll have to pin the handle peice on if thats the case.

Like Eric said some superglue and sinew does wonders.

the crack is running across the limb .found out friend tried to string it the wrong way.

The cracks I wrapped were running across the limb but very small and on the back which is more serious than one on the belly. I have shot a few thousand arrows out of the bow since the patch with no problems.
