managed to exocise some demons that have been haunting me for a while now. i've been missing and losing game lately because i've been shooting over the top of them or hitting them to high. been practicing my butt off and seemed to fix the problem. all i needed to do was go out and prove to myself that i could do it when it mattered. on saturday i had one opportunity, this is the result. a sow taken at about 13m-14m. i hit her a couple of inches to the left of the spot i picked and took out the bottom of the shoulder blade. i was just glad i didn't send it 6" over her back!! to me this sow represents the reward of a lot of hard work and dedicated practise. it was a proud moment shared with a good hunting partner who witnessed the whole thing. excuse the mud on her she was in a muddy swamp about 1' deep.
