How long a bow will Mr Treadway build ? These look like they may be the heavy risered hybrid I'm looking for. ?

Can anyone comment on stability ? I've been trying to make the switch to longbow for a few years and really like a heavy riser.

that would be a good question for Mike... i thought i remembered him saying he was going to build them up to 60"....He may go longer if it was requested...give him a call.

that was up to 60" in the new blackswamp forward handle design..

his original design goes up to 68"

You cant go wrong with either design..they both are extremely nice bows...

Steve thanks for posting my pictures!!! My Black Swamp is 60" 52@28". It has a Kingwood riser and all Bamboo limbs. You can't go wrong with a Treadway. I love my 2 bows!!! [thumbsup] [biglaugh] You also won't find a better guy than Mike.

My bow is the Kingwood bow that Steve posted the picture of with the sassafras limbs they say the limbs will darken over time. It is the smoothest and most shock free bow I believe that I've shot in my short traditional experience.
