Curt, Great pics and story as always. Not sure if everyone noticed as much as I did , the respect given to, " just a doe ". I will use your fine example to teach Mason how to respect God's provision.
Our freezer was empty from our first year of trad only hunting so we, " cheated " a little this year for the first half of season to stock up. Mason has got four with smokepole and rifle. We will mostly trad hunt the rest of the year now and try to get our first trad kills. Cannot tell you what it felt like to climb down the tree four times this year and watch Mason run to his deer, kneel down, and pray over God's provision. His 3rd and 4th were in the snow too believe it or not ! We occasionally get some snow in TN.
Congrats again Curt on a great hunt, pics and story. Maybe someday we can tell one as good as you do.
