So there another couple things X-ed out on the list:

And man alive i shoot those carbons well right now. (it can not last)
With 40# Winex limbs on the Excel, they are darts. 554grs and 17.5%foc, doing 170fps.
Now Sid Ball has delivered, so if even Bob Morrison could i'll have two bows to take over.

starting to come together for the Bear hunt, but I wonder:

Just how jumpy are black Bears?

Got two bows tuned up here, took alot of tweaking to get both the Morrison/Border Hex 5 and the Excel/Winact combo to shoot well - but now they do! Done lots of bareshafting, even out to 60 yards...
And w/ broadheads too, arrow flight is damned near perfect.

The problem is noise. Excel/Winact bow is quiet enough probly (painted black and all camoed up it looks like some "tactical" bow) But the Morrison/Border bow is a bit noisier than i like - got two sets of wool balls on it, looks like half a sheep, but still it has a distinct "twang" and is very sensitive to release, poor release = lots of sound.
Now the Border limbs on the shorter riser shoots substantially harder so obviously i would prefer that bow.

Any tips for silencing the Hex Vs, on a Morrison ILF?
