I have not made any bows for a while so it was good to get into a couple over the last few weeks and just finished these two bows.I dont normally make the straight laid type as I just prefer the D/R style myself but wanted to see how the two would compare at about the same weight.
Cheers KIM

Great job! How does the performance compare? Do you have any full length profile shots?

Thanks Apex mate I found even during tillering that the straight bow does not have as much string tension at brace and performs well but not as well as the D/R.The D/R shot just over 12 GPP at over 160 fps and is only light at 40 pound at 28.I dont have any full length shot but will take some toomorrow as it is a bit late here now.The last D/R I did off this form was only 58 inches long and shot 10 grain per pound at just over 200 fps so I am very happy with this form.

Nice looking bows, I like the woods and the way you stack the riser block. what are the wood types.
Good job!
