Mudd: That sure is a fine looking dog you have in your avatar. Reminds me of the Beagle I had when I was living in southern Illinois with my grandfather back in the '50's.

Rick James: You got me to thinking about the wet, sweaty hand. I soaked my bow hand really good and had it wet to the bone and went out and shot the bow. The grip did'nt seem all that different. Actually it seems like it had a little more gripicity to it. Back in the 60's, 70's Browning, Bear, Howatt and others had some of the glossiest finishes around. I cant remember slippery grips ever being a problem. I have a HH "Redman" #45 @ 28" that I will hunt deer with. So I probably wouldn't have this bow out in wet weather that much anyway.

Far Rider: Yes I will have more time to shoot. I would say that I have been able to increase my shooting 300% to 400% more since I have retired. Also, I have been able to spend more time in tuning arrows and equipment. I live in Colorado and one of the things I always wanted to do is spend the whole archery season camped out hunting. That is about a whole month. I think that is going to happen this year.

I want to thank everyone for the retirement well wishes. I do appreciate them.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Veterans and those currently serving our country. Thank you.

Looks like a great Hill to me. Nice to have a new bow when starting into retirement.
