I had Marty build me a bow blank and he was kind enough to put some pics on the bowyers bench for me to see before he ships it. I think he did a fantastic job and can't wait to get this projct going....check it out on the bowyers bench!!

Ron, just checked out the pics. Marty does a great job. A bow blank is a great way to get introduced to building your own bows.

Good luck with the project and post some pictures when she's done.

Thanks guys! I actually screwed up building his riser. [Smile] I had planned zebra/osage/zebra and had it ready to cut out the fades when I realized I was building a straight bow not an R/D. I went back and laminated the back piece on to make it flat again. I think it turned out better than the original plan. Ron picked all the wooods, I just had to figure out how best to make them flow well.
