Anybody shoot them? Been eyeing them as they come into the local shop - some pretty strong shooting bows from my little experience. Any feedback on how they hold up?

I had a recurve for several years, good shooting bow. Sold it when I went to all longbows. They are a more of a "local" bow but built as well or better than any custom I've owned.

Rampart bows are great bows at a great price. The guys at Rocky Mountain Specialty Gear, a sponsor of Trad Gang carry and shoot them. Ken

I shoot a recurve of Johns that I've had for seven years now, no problems at all, very nice bow hits hard very good craftsmanship, nice grip. Check out his three piece longbow they compare very well to the pronghorns, been told they are a little quicker too.

I have a very nice recurve that I received recently from one of our fine TGr's. I really love the grip and it is smooth and extremely well built!

I have shot a bunch of them. Smooth. Quick. Flawless workmanship. A little more reflex than a Pronghorn LB, with more sculpting in the grip.

I'm shooting a Rampart 3pc.L/B. Great shooter, excellent craftsmanship. "Buckster" is shooting my recurve. I can't believe I let it go. Posts: 303 | From: Arizona | Registered: Apr 2008

Never owned one but have examined several and shot a few. I'll likely own one. Posts: 1160 | From: Wyoming | Registered: Jan 2005

I bought this second hand 3-piece takedown at RMSG a couple of years back. Great looking bow and great shooter. I also visited with John G. at his shop in the Denver area. He's a super nice guy.
