I think I read here that you should spread super glue over your snake skin after you have it glued to the limb. What is the purpose of that? And, is there a special super glue you are supposed to use? How do you spread that without it sticking to everything? Thanks for the info. Mike

Mike, I have heard people recommend super glue, and others say not to use it. I am currently doing a set for a friend. I am applying Tru-oil over the skins then I will apply some spray on Matte finish to cut down the shine. It works great!

I used super glue on some skins and I had a couple spots cloud up where the limb bent a little more in one spot than the rest of the limb. I'm going to try tru-oil this time I think.

Thanks for the info guys. A.S., I got some diamond backs from Mike Yancy like you suggested. So far so good! If these turn out, I am going to get another set for my other limbs. Thanks again. Mike

Ok, My first skin that I put on yesterday has a spot that I can't get the scales to lift off. Any ideas?

Here is the skin I got from a friend. The other is way darker. Does anyone have one they'd sell this shade?
