Craig, Every thing seems to be about two weeks (almost 3) ahead this year.

Seems the same here as well, most of the Oaks are droping acorns and have been for awhile. The Poplar trees are starting to shead some leaves.
Just has the look and feel of an early and cooler than normal fall. Also have noticed the bees really working double time.

Bring it!!! I've been waiting for almost a year now!
I feel about as deadly as I've ever felt before in my life.
I have one more major thing I want to get done before "it" happens and that's buying a "cheapo" Bee smoker and get my ghuillie all stinky with it.
God bless,Mudd
PS: If anyone is interested, I found a source for brand new Bee Smokers for under $15 bucks.

Northern Ontario and even south to northern Minn, and Wis. blue berries are are 2 1/2 weeks early, as are raspberries. Walnut leaves are turning, some dropping, again about 2 weeks early. Acorns from red oaks are starting to drop as are hickory and walnuts ... 2 to 3 weeks early.
Don't know if that means early fall or not. Not sure if it means bad winter comming or nothing really at all. However, it is hard not to hope the hunting will be real good and real soon!
Bob.

I agree. Acorns all over the place here. And the weather feels like end of September to me.
