Usually a dozen here or there in a heavy leather BQ. In my compound days I shot an entire quiver (8) full of arrows in one afternoon at different animals.

I take 3-4 broadhead-tipped arrows and one blunt or judo. I've been known to carry a spare broadhead or two in my fanny in case I need more shots -- I can exchange shot (now dull) broadheads for fresh (sharp) ones. I've only had two few arrows with me one time and that was an Ontario Black Bear in 1985 that required some unusual decisions.
