Well, I've been chasing these dang speed goats for a couple of weeks now and I HATE THEM! I've never killed one with my bow so I thought this year I would give it a try...stupid lopes! I hate the wind on the prairie! I hate their damn eyesight! I hate they always end up in a field that I can't sneak up to because there's no cover for miles! I hate this doe decoy that never works, plus I need more education to figure out how to fold this damn thing! If it wasn't so much fun I'd never do it again! I can't wait till next year to try it again!
Sorry, I just had to rant and I wanted to see if anybody else was getting skunked with thier bow this year.
Anyway, only a few more days left of bow season for them so I guess I'm gonna get skunked this year and resort to taking one with the boomstick...I'm gonna use a pistol instead just to make it challenging.

You have got it right! For many years I've said I have it figured out for next year (not), or that I'm not going to even get a license next year. I think I'll just quit saying, because you know where we all will probably be "blown back to" next year.

As everyone wrote it, you did the right thing... It's sometime hard to find out that people you see as friends finaly doesn't earn your friendship...

If you aren't sitting on a waterhole but rather trying to spot and stalk, they are tough, to say the least. As you know too well, YOU are the one spotted, and that ends the stalk.
