Sorry David. I confused Type 1 with Type A.
I have or have had A and B risers in several Bear TD models. I prefer the A risers in most of the TD models. In fact, I had a Supreme built at the factory in an A Riser after I bought the B.
I do appreciate you pointing out the Series 1 and 2 description though. I had only heard that referred to as Type 1 or ...something after the first Custom Kodiak TDS.

There is a rumor going around that the new Red Stripes are being built with the slim profile as the Bubingas. Is there any truth to this? I love the grip on my Red Stripe. It was built in 2011 and is a bit thicker than the Bubinga.

I've seen that trend in the Red Stripes... I have a buddy that has #69... mine is #121... and mine is thinnner than his... I've held others even thinner than mine... I like the little thicker grip... all personal...

Jonathan, I thought that I would like the thinner Bubinga handle, but after shooting it I prefer the Red Stripe more. Also, the added weight helps keep my bow more stable.

Here are the specs: riser: early greenstripe Bear TD bow quiver: Bighorn limbs: Rose Oak #1 -- 51# at 29" string: SBD 6-strand arrow: 517 gr Traditional Only carbon
Getting my eye tuned up for deer season. Arrows are tuned, bow is in great shape. The season will be here before you know it.
There is a photo of me shooting the greenstripe somewhere earlier in this thread. I also posted photos of two of my other Bear TDs.

Sam, I saw your post and story about the bear hunt. Very well done.
:noteworthy:
Those green stripes have some good mojo, don't they? Great photos, by the way. Joe
