Anyone own or ever shoot one of Dave's split bamboo all wood bows patterned after the Howard Hill Grandpa? What is your evaluation?

I shot one at the Coon Rapids shoot, I was told that I am the only other person who has ever shot that bow. Now I think I could have outrun the gentleman that owned that bow, but I was not so sure about the tall scary guy he was with, so I reluctantly gave it back to him. Pure magic, plenty quick and it seemed like it shot itself. If you are looking for a longbow hand thump look somewhere else, this one had none at all.

Were they the same bamboo bows that were set up on a table just outside the building? If they were, they all truly works of art. I almost parted with some money that day.

Beautiful bow I'm shooting a string follow one just like it and it was made by Charlie Lamb.
The best shooting and quietest bow I have ever had or shot. I bet Miller's bow is awesome too, sure is a nice looking bow.

Oops, not the same guy... I did a search on millers bow, I was thinking of someone else. This guy was much younger. Regardless, the guy at the shoot had some beautiful all bamboo bows.

MikeM, I have shot several of David's bows and own a glass Ol Tom. I have evebn shot the all bamboo Concave/Convex bows David is currently building. If you are wanting a work of true Hill art then give David a call. You will not go wrong with any of David's creations if that is the type of bow you desire. Smooth, quiet, shoot were you look and all out craftsmanship. Flint
