Hey Guys!!! Back on page 579 of this thread I talked about getting the HH bug when I bought a Wesley Special off of *****. And I mentioned that I had used a safety bonus from work to order another bow from Craig Ekin. Well... yesterday- 2 weeks and 1 day after I placed the order- I heard my wife go to the door and take a package from the mailman. I didn't think much of it since I wasn't expecting anything. Anyway, a few seconds later she comes into the room where I was, carrying a long skinny box-- with my new bow!!!! I have no idea how he got it done so fast but I'm not complaining!! Here are some pics!! Vital Info-- 4 lams of Yew + 1 lam of Bamboo AMO-66", 60#@28" Texas Ebony Riser and Buffalo Horn tip overlays Silver Wolf inlay Named it-- King Raven BTW- The group of arrows in the target are the second group I ever shot from the bow (after a warm-up group). I shot the group from 100 yards away, of course!!! Allright, actually it was only about 15 yards BUT I was still pleased with it!! They are Easton 2018's, 29" with 125 gr. points.

You are welcome Tony, by the way the tip overlays and riser wood is probably Shedua on your bow.

"Holy Crap!!" is pretty much what I said when I looked at the Return Address to see who it was from! Especially since I was getting the evil eye from the wife who thought I had ordered ANOTHER bow that she didn't know about!! I had just told her the night before that I expected it to be at least 2 more weeks before I got this bow based on what Craig's wife told me when I placed the order! Been out shooting it again today!! I am really impressed with this bow so far!!

MT Longbow-- It's pretty close! The buffalo horn overlays and the wolf instead of the robin hood cap are the main differences. It has the same number of yew lams and the one bamboo lam and the texas ebony riser and no lam up the sweep, as well as the string-folow limbs. King Raven is the name of a trilogy of books that re-tells the Robin Hood story in Wales in an earlier time than the Sherwood Forest Robin Hood. Thanks to everyone for the compliments!! I really like the looks of the bow but it's nice to know there's a place to show it off to people who are the same kind of "crazy" as me (I mean that in a good way)! Most of what I decided that I wanted in it came from looking at all of the great bows I saw here and from the posts in this thread (or at least as much of it as I've read, so far-LOL!!)

A beauty for sure Marlon but even if it's weight were cut in half it would still have me over bowed.
I'd love to see the whole bow..maybe even at full draw.
Thanks in advance!!
God's grace, Mudd
