Have seen a few versions of this open style quiver, similar to the one posted below and wondering where they may be acquired, or if any of our gang make em? Is there a name for this style? Or a build along for something like this and or some more picts? Seems accessible, light, secure & quiet.
Appreciate some insight on characteristics, Thanks.

Selway used to make a style like this out of leather. It had a belt loop that could be changed so it could be worn on either hip. The loop also swiveled so the fletched end of the arrows could be angled forward or back.

Another option would be Ron LaClairs website. He has a couple of leather quivers somewhat like this using a shoulder strap.

It looks like wood. Bill at Zipper Bows makes a bow quiver using some really nice wood veneers. There is someone else who makes a side quiver out of wood but I don't remember who they are.

Here's the Mantis from Ron La Clairs site. -
Does anyone have some picts of others? I'd like to DIY one, seems like the leather must be supported fore of aft by a rod or such as a batton

does this one count?
a bit different style but same functions.

That's a nice one, especially for a DIY one
