I can't comment on the Silvertip, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express...Ha! Ha! Ha! Just kidding...

Actually, I own 2 Blacktail Elite VL takedown and love them both. Smooth, fast, and fits my hand perfectly. Beautiful bows and well worth the wait.

Riser is cocobolo footed with snakewood. Limb veneers are cocobolo and stained red elm.

Fabulous, that's one of the prettiest BTs I seen glass76, and they're all pretty easy on the eyes. The wood just glows in your photos. Thanks for posting the extra pics.

I have two Blacktails, a Snakebit and an Elite XL, and both of them are great bows. The Snakebit is the prettiest bow ever made, amazing wood that is put together as well as the finest piece of furniture ever made. I drool just looking at it. I do not own a Tip but have shot some. They are both great bows. I voted for the Blacktails with my dollars (lots of dollars) if that means anything to you. Kevin Osworth and Thomas Burns probably have the most experience with both bows, and I would definitely listen to their knowledgeable opinions.
