These pics are taken on the W portion of the Central Alps called Pennine.The 3 major peaks of Europe are here,one hour drive from my home.

Thanks for the pics and story Felix. I was in Italy a couple of years ago chaperoning a group of high school kids with my wife the teacher. The best part of the trip to me was the bus ride through the mountains on our way to France. It gave me relief from the city and all the cathedrals and museums. I was so disappointed that the only one awake during that beautiful ride besides me was the bus driver.
