“Brother Wind”

Whisper to me softly, O' brother wind
From whence place dost thou blow?
Help determine mine ultimate direction
And guide my journey with the longbow

Caress my face with thy gentle pass
As I stalk, undetected, in search of my foe
Hide me, I beseech thee...reveal not my transgress
And guide my journey with the longbow

Bear not my presence upon your current
And make known the secret below
To the sensitive nose of the forest dweller
And guide my journey with the longbow

But alas..., it is not to be, O' brother wind
For my words thou tossed to and fro
This way, then that way and this way again
Unknown, unseen, your ever changing flow
Thus ending, but, ending only this day
My journey with the longbow......TW

T.W. Your poems have been nice reading lately. I hope You keep a written journal of them.

I have a Uncle who is in his late seventies who recently had a book of poems published. He was able to sell several hundred copies.

I don't know if he made much on them but it was according to him a dream come true.

Good luck and please continue to post Your poems here on TradGang.
