I am having trouble finding an allen wrench small enough to fit the screws holding the leather to the metal piece on the tab, they are very, very small. I have one tiny wrench that will fit, but I would like to get spares for my tackle box. I have many sets of allen wrenches, with 1/16 being second to smallest, and .50 being the smallest, the tab requires even a smaller then the .50 I contacted AAE, makers of the tab, and they sent me several 1/16 wrenches claiming they are what I need, which of coarse does not work. Anyone out there know what size is below the .50 and where I can aquire them? Thanks in advance. DK.

You usally won't find allen wrenchs that small at most hardware stores. You might try Grainger.com,they carry alot of tools and stuff,I've bought some small taps there.

Thanks much 309, I tried looking on line with no luck. I'll give Grainger.com a look. DK.

If you are talking about the eight screws that hold it together, on mine the 1/16 fits perfect. I have two, one is about a year old the other is 2 or 3 months old. I don't know if they used a different size on the older ones, but the 1/16 fits them both.

Have to agree with Chief the 1/16 fit the ones I have owned and they have used them a long time. Shawn
