I was wanting to know if there are any recurve shooters shooting sights that would like to see a class started. The IBO used to have a class ( RA ) Recurve Aided but was dropped due to the lack of shooters. There used to be several that shot this class but slowly dropped off. Was thinking fixed pins maybe 35 or 45 yards max. Any thoughts?

Before there were compounds, before archery was called traditional, guys just shot bows... longbows and recurves. Now we find those bows on auction sites and a bunch of them have little holes drilled in the riser where the long-ago owner had a set of sights attached. If you don't want to use them then that's fine but we shouldn't necessarily be getting our pants in a bunch over others who use them, they're just as much a part of archery history as an old Bear recurve.
