Looking forward to it. I'm preparing by sitting on the deck naked at dusk and building up my mosquito tolerance. I much prefer the time around Halloween, but go whenever I get the chance.

I'm shooting everyday, getting ready to build a few blinds and put out some late summer/fall food plots. I leave stands in certain places every year. Also headed to MN in Sept for a black bear hunt. I am more than excited for absolutely any reason to be in a tree with a stick and a string after any critter.

My son walked up to me yesterday with a big grin on his face and said "Only a bit over 2 months to go". He is 28 and his excitement its still the best part of it all!

Gonna hang trail cams next week. Wish it wasn't 101 here every day!

Some of my friends fish all summer long.

I start getting ready for deer season!
