I used the 5 gpi tubes for about the past 6 months. They flew pretty good.. However, based on reading a lot of stuff on here I decided to add the weight to the point of the arrow for better flight and FOC, etc.

I was skeptical. So I took 3 of arrows and took the weight tubes out of them, and added 100 grain brass inserts. Then I took 3 more arrows, LEFT the tubes IN and added the 100 grain brass inserts. Finally, my last 3 arrows were the arrows I had been shooting for 6 months. I then shot all of these arrows for about a week and noted accuracy, sound, flight, etc.

I found that the arrows WITHOUT the weight tubes, and JUST the brass inserts were the most accurate, consistent arrows of the lot.

Like I said, they will probably fly great for you. But the arrows might fly even better with the weight on the front of the arrow. Give it a shot.
