After two years of not hunting trad I'm making a return. My old self-bow caught my eye a few weeks back and a little at a time it has been calling me back. I gave in tonight and strung it up. After putting a few arrows through it I cant resist the urge to get back on the ground with my ghillie and continue my pursuit of my first trad deer. How do a longbow and wooden arrows get in your blood like that anyway? Best of luck to everyone this season. Happy hunting!!!

Welcome back! The reason they get in your blood is because there ain't nothing else like it.
