Nice clip piggy, What do you reckon he'd go? 26 inches? Interesting little wiggle in his right beam too. Memo

memo, I thought 27" and another friend who watched the full video thought 26" also so I recon 25- 27 range would be pretty close. I think I have some still pictures of him from last year floating around here somewhere, he had the same wiggle on the same side so I guess same deer.
Aunty I noticed you spell Sambar with an "e" is that the common way to spell it in NZ?

Aunty he is a great stag in anyone's book rifle or bow,I have a freezer full or meat and I won't shoot a deer just for the rack. I am happy to just watch them, last year I shot the dominant stag for the area with my recurve and I don't think I would shoot another good stag unless it is better than what I have. I have a soft spot for deer and every time I take one I feel remorse. About 30 minutes after filming him I had a smaller stag of about 20 to 22 inches walk out right under my stand, I drew on him for the practice but let down and let him walk away.
