Congrats! I dont know for wich to envy you more: building youre own longbow and harvesting game with it, being able to stalk up to 6 yards on a deer or havin the balls of taking picture during the stalk

Last thing on my mind would be a pic while stalking. Great hunting.

To be honest with you guys I wasn't sure if I was going to take that second doe due to the fact I was standing in 3 inches of water. Her standing in the row was a 12 yard picture. I was taking the pictures for a fellow trad guy who is laid up with a broken arm wishing he was out so I had to take him on the hunt thru pics. But once I reached the 6 yard line I felt good enough with the shot angle to drop the string.

Man that's some awesome hunting right there! Your bow looks sweet too. Congrats on a fine job all around.

Awesome! Way to channel your inner "Ishi" and take a pair on the stalk. Very cool pick in the corn field. Real bold that you had the cool head to think of snapping a shot before taking a shot. I would have been so focused on the deer a camera would be the last thing on my mind.
I bet I have snuck and looked down 1000 rows of corn and never seen one like that. I know it works, but so far not for me. I think you have re-inspired me to give it a go in the corn field across the street from my house.
