Yeah the "always have wood under my work clothes" caught me off guard too but then I figured it out.
The way I think about it is I don't want my hunting clothes smelling like all the human activity I'm around if possible.
I definitely do like to wear my wool, pendeltons, earth tones etc. Not too big on wearing camo around town though... Posts: 448 | From: Sebastopol, CA | Registered: Jul 2011

I wear wool all year around... Wool plaid shirt, wool pants(winter time) I wear my filson tin pants or double tin pants, with a filson makinaw wool vest prety much every day!! A pair of smoke tan moose winter mits, and my Steger mukkluks every day of the winter. and of course my fur traper hat when it's realy cold!! Now I'm looking for a canadian "voyageur" red tuque like the one used by the fur traders when traveling by big canoes or in the winter travel!!
