In many Native American cultures the owl is the messenger of bad news. I hope all is well.

Had one fly in and sit on the branch next to my stand one time. He just kept watching me, I figured he could see my eyes, the rest being covered by a face mask at the time. Was neat, but spooky at the same time. Didn't hear a thing, just turn my head to look off to my right and when I looked back there he was.

Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.

Hmmmm, this may go back to the treestand thread ! I think that ol' boy figured since you left that stand overnight you could not reserve that spot! [Smile] Anyway, i'm sure he fared better than you, if not today, tommorrow. They say you can't beat a man at his trade, and lets face it, HE HUNTS FOR A LIVING !
