ok will call it a ben pearson ambusher great the bow is a little ruff but i think i am fixn to start a refinish job on the wood part only . The next ? is were do I start if there is a tread or a place i should look for info please point me in the right direction . Thanks Mike

Definitely looks like a Pearson to me Looks like a fun bow. Post this and the pic over on the Trad History and Collecting forum and you'll likely learn more about the bow.
There is a lengthy Refinishing 101 Thread posted at the top of that forum to help with your refinish.

Thanks guys what about a new string had a really good guy send me a few strings a while back I can't remember his name but he is from middle AR. If you read this could ya pm me. Also what would be the right brace height on this bow.

I think it says SIGNAL, So may change your search.

Yep it is a Pearson Signal Star. Got one on the rack. Then they made it with an all Phenolic plastic looking riser.

OK got to looking at the bow some more and the bottom libm is twisted how do I twist it back to the right spot.
