I usually sit and listen to the wisdom shared on here rather than speaking. There are a ton of great folks on here and I would be honored to hunt with them all. But if I had to pick a couple people who I have never met...Charlie Lamb(love his stories), RC(born killer), Andy Ivy(dude hunts in amazing places), and Raging Waters(120 lb bows look like limp noodles in his hands).

Oh, and I'll shoot a Lodge Pole arrow. That way we don't have to trail the Bunny. It will just be a puff of fur!

I've had the pleasure of going on one of the Texas Sweat hunts years ago and I'd love to do that again. Lots of guys were there who I'd love to hunt with again and there are a lot of people on here who I've never met who I'd also like to hunt with.

In no particular order and I'm sure I'd forget several here are a few.

Dean Torges to hunt squirrel or deer but really to try some of his pancakes I keep hearing about.

Charlie Lamb to hunt anything from MO whitetails to Wyoming mulies, elk or even ground squirrels.

Joe Coots I've shot with at his home and I was AMAZED with his ability. Would love to chase some hogs with him if he could put up with my lousy shooting.

Roy Williams aka Mudd. I'd love to run with his squirrel dogs at least once.

Ron LaClaire seems to be a "one of a kind" throwback from time and I think I'd get along great and share many interests.

Gene and Barry Wensel, Biggie Hoffman, and the Mitten Brothers all in one camp would be amazing. I'd be like a fly on the wall soaking up stories and advise. And likely, that camp would be smack dab in the middle of some prime whitetail deer territory!

RC is a meat makin' machine and I'd love to chase some hogs with him too.

And there is another southern fella whose name is blanking out on me right now. He's getting up there in years but from what I hear he'd likely outwalk, outclimb and outhunt me any day. Keeps a journal of all his bow kills, had a video here years ago climbing a tree with gaffs and went from the ground to sitting in a hang on in about a minute and a half. Dang it, I just CAN NOT think of his name. I believe he also had his truck camper shell fixed up with a bed and gear storage that was pretty cool too. I'm sure some of you know who I mean. I want to say he is from Louisiana maybe?

Old Jim Fetrow was around here years ago and was known for his yew bow knowledge. I'd love to walk the Oregon rain forests with him for a few days.

Van/TX is another who "used to be" around here. I've met him several times but never for hunting. Would like to chase some TX deer and hogs with him some time.

And that is just scratching the surface. I've got a bunch of names rolling around in my head but this would get even longer than it is if I kept putting them down so I'll leave it at that.

Bottom line, I've probably never met a tradganger who I would NOT hunt with.

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

RC,

THANKS! You're right. I used to love reading his posts. You could just tell he was one of them "been there, done that" kinda guys. Does he still come around here much? I have not been on here nearly as much as I used to and have not been posting much or keeping up with everyone else's posts either.

Thats an easy question for me. Ever since I started reading the Solana threads on here I have wanted to go there and hunt with Terry and Guru for sure. other than that I would like to hunt with Skye and his dad. That on would be a little more possible since I live in Alabama myself.

I would just like a chance to hunt. I'm always too busy in the fall. It's my fault though. I could take a day off, but the whole time I'm hunting I'm thinking about everything I have to get done before Christmas and it makes it hard to concentrate on the stalk.
