I have a Samick Sage that is strictly set up for bowfishing. I like the option of being able to purchase additional limbs for fairly cheap, and haven't had problems from the ones I have. Very reasonable bow for the price.

I have a Sage - Great bow for the price. Change the string to a fast fight ($18 dollar addition). I have shot one as a second bow for several year now. My Dad, brother and two friends have the same bow. Shoot good, feels good in the hand.

i did order the fast flight with it I also got the cat whiskers and the silencers to between the limbs, I want to use this for shooting 3d and as my backup hunting bow i like that it was not expensive and is a take down that i can throw in my luggage when traveling. I had a scary thought sitting in my tree stand this year, if i drop my bow my hunt is over and its damaged my hunt is over. the more i thought about it the more it made since to get a backup, i played baseball for years and never carried just one bat.

I have enjoyed my sage and for the money it shoots great. I had one set of limbs blow at full draw, but the fiberglass held it together. I had an arrow flaa off the string at trelease that I am sure caused it.
Maybe look at getting bow hush/hush puppies for it as it can shoot pretty loud.

That's what I bought mine for, I have a chek-mate hunter 1 as my Number 1 bow, and it is amazing how close in feel the sage feel to it. I can pick it up and shoot as bad with it, as I can with my #1 bow (lol). I have muskox string silencers and limb savers on mine, It pretty quite.
This bow also makes a great bow fishing bow (it has all the add on threaded holes you need to set it up). I have it all set up for bow fishing but have only practiced with up to this point. This summer, I hope to change that.

I bought a sage strickly for bowfishing. I usually shoot a longbow but the traditional adapter for my AMS real does not hold the real in place to well and instead of drilling hole in my longbows I figured i would buy the Sage instead and it works great.

I have had a red stag, in the 50 pounds range. It was a very good bow! I liked it so much that I decided to buy another Samick. Now I currently have a Phoenix II (62", 55#28@). Itīs a fine looking and shotting. I have a review in you tube of the last one. Itīs a shame that is in Portuguese, but you can give a good look in the bow in action.
